Operation Encompass

Operation Encompass is in place across every police force in the country with the aim to support every child.

In the 2021 Domestic Abuse Act, children were recognised as victims of domestic abuse. Operation Encompass ensures that the police share information with schools about any domestic violence incidents they have attended where students of our community may have been affected.

The information sharing procedures are in place between the police and education to ensure that students can benefit from early intervention if they are affected by domestic abuse.
